Hispanic Heritage Month

October is Hispanic Heritage Month. As Vice President of the World Language club at my school, I had the pleasure of being a host of a Hispanic heritage professional roundtable. The panel discussed their careers, the underrepresentation of Hispanics in their fields, and advice for high schoolers as they start to think about their futures.

As you go out to do incredible things today, I will leave you with this quote from the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice, Justice Sonia Sotomayor:

“Success is its own reward, but failure is a great teacher too, and not to be feared.”
